Creative Work

As a creator, I enjoy bringing lightness and happiness to folks through silly, bright, joyful comics exploring themes of the outdoors and identity. I initially began drawing to reconstitute my sense of self after the battle with cancer left noticeable physical “merit badges” and reshaped portions of my body. I hope that my work provides other folks a laugh or a moment of being seen as learning to draw my feelings and emotions did for me. 

I primarily work digitally with Procreate for illustrating and coloring my work, as well as Adobe InDesign to format the drafted pieces. Please find the complete run (thus far) of “Out There” below, as well as some samples of other work I’ve created.
